COVID COMMITMENT
At Fireblade Aviation we prioritise the safety of our guests and team above all else. In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic we have instituted additional measures so as to stop the spread and ensure our guests can travel with peace of mind. We recognise our moral and legal responsibility to provide a safe and healthy work and travel environment for all persons and that the safety and well-being of all persons is monitored and prioritised.

Our current Covid-19 safety measures include:
For international passenger flights, passengers will be required to complete the Passenger Health Assessment Form and submit it to Fireblade’s Flight Operations department prior to the date of the flight so that it may be reviewed and it can be determined if the passenger poses a risk to fly. Handheld, non-contact infrared thermometers will be used to measure the body temperature of passengers before entering the terminal. Any person entering the Fireblade Terminal will be required to wear a face mask. No entry into the facility will be permitted without it. Physical-distancing indicators have been placed on the ground and at waiting areas to help travellers maintain the required social distancing during check-in and boarding. Please note Fireblade Aviation has adopted a 100% Staff vaccination policy to ensure the safety and health of all guests and staff.
Social distancing of all disembarking passengers will be observed and maintained. All those boarding flights will be screened again by Port Health Officials before flight embarking and upon disembarking. Ground staff welcoming a flight to the Fireblade Terminal will be required to wear their issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). No Fireblade employee is permitted to enter an arriving aircraft prior to the disinfection of the aircraft by its operator/crew.
Baggage off/on loading will be done with full PPE. Baggage will be taken to the baggage disinfection station and will be disinfected with an approved disinfectant. Arriving passengers will be escorted through the terminal to their transport.
Sanitising units are available at all entrances and in the main hospitality areas for passengers and staff to sanitise their hands. Once all individuals have cleared the aircraft, services shall commence. Apron staff and equipment operators will wear full PPE, including disposable gloves. Fireblade has modified its inflight services for health and safety reasons and to comply with issued Government Gazettes/Directives. On the Challenger and the Global aircraft for international flights only, all in-flight catering will be served by the cabin hostess individually packaged and sealed. For domestic flights no in-flight catering is provided except for bottled water.
On the PC12s, A139 & A119 no cabin hostess is present. For international flights only, all in-flight catering will be provided in pre-packaged meal boxes placed on each passenger’s seat prior to the passengers embarking. For domestic flights no in- flight catering is provided except bottled water. Meal and beverage offerings may need to be altered to comply with temporary health restrictions and physical distancing techniques and could vary by route. For example, when operating between countries with low infection rates and limited spread, a standard service may be acceptable, whereas while operating within, to or from a country with a high rate of infection, services may need to be limited. Similarly, to reduce the risk of spreading the virus by touch, magazines and other print reading material are temporarily unavailable. Cabin baggage is currently not accepted on flights. Carry-on items allowed in the cabin are limited to laptops, handbags, briefcases or baby items. All other items must be checked in, and Fireblade will add the cabin baggage allowance to customers’ check-in baggage allowance.
